Today’s sad news of passing is of Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Kurt Funnygut as my father calls him. The obituaries are out on the net.
So it goes.
Did you know that his first wife and their two daughters are born-again Christians? How did that marriage not work out?
I don’t recall calling him “Kurt Funnygut” but appreciate the attribution. I know that you were one of his biggest fans–from eighth grade on, when you became Billy Pilgrim–and we certainly shared your enthusiasm.
Just the other evening we checked out “Slaughterhouse Five” and really enjoyed it, for probably the fifth time. Hope you’ve seen it lately, too.
