Anais Nin’s point is extraordinarily true. Over the last several years, I have composed and typeset simultaneously. It’s gotten to the point that I can’t think in terms of a separate rough draft in, for example, a Microsoft Word document. Every one of my drafts is in the form of a polished presentation. I simply polish as I go, instead of as a final step.
